5.5-We cannot choose our situation

We choose our reaction to our situation. Suffering comes.  We can rejoice because we are children of God and He is hearing our cries and working things for our good.  He encourages us.. He comforts us.  He urges us to move forward.  With the presence of our Father in heaven we learn that we can persevere and develop character and keep our hope in God's promises strong.

 8.26- God expects His children to forgive people who say they have repented and to do so over and over. He certainly is a forgiving God. He has great love and patience with His children. He is compassionate. He is gracious. he is slow to anger.  He is abounding in love.  5.19- Pretending. Jesus hates the behavior of pretenders, but he loves pretenders. When we pretend we are spiritually strong when in reality we are weak. When we are pretending to be healthy, we don't really open ourselves to Dr. Jesus for deep, soul level surgery. When we are the strongest is when know we are weak in ourselves and must rely on God. That's one of the reasons God doesn't like faking, pretension and hypocrisy.
