7.2- It fits for us to talk to Him in prayer about what we are doing

 7.2-

It fits for us to talk to Him in prayer about what we are doing.  He delights to help us succeed in what we are trying to produce.  As we see what God is doing it gives us great joy in Him working through us in spite of our weakness and failures.  He does not want us to waste our time on arguments.  He wants us to submit to each other in love.

Love for all the people around us is the key to us being helpful to them.  It is shown in laying aside our own priorities to serve them.  Laying down our lives for others is a picture of love in action.  When we operate by love instead of fear we can take reasonable risk to get things done.  He does not want the rich to use their wealth to oppress the poor.  We trust God's unfailing love more than anything else including powerful instruments of war and violence.

The best context for teaching for spiritual growth is mutual friendship.  There is a great difference between slavery and friendship.  In friendship we reveal our plans to each other without concern.  In one up and one down slavery there is a restriction on what we tell for fear that someone might use the information to get the upper hand on us.  The reality is that God is in charge and we are all His children.  The ground in Jesus is level.  All of us are ministers and priests of God.  Male and female. Jews and Gentiles.  The hate between different nations and different races and ethnic groups is a creation of the devil and is not the will of God who created all people in His image. All one body in Jesus.

John 15.

12 “This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, that a person will lay down his life for his friends. 14 You are My friends if you do what I command you. 15 No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, because all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you. 16 You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you. 17 This I command you, that you love one another.
