Salvation. What does it mean?

Being saved.

Coming to Jesus.

Knows Jesus.

Is born again.

What does this mean in practical terms?  Can we break it down better for the modern person?

It is like a container that is deadly dirty that is completely clean and totally  sanitized and safe to drink from.
