3.31- God is glorified in courage and sacrifice.

 3.31-

God is glorified in courage and sacrifice.

What we saw in America on 911 was that many firemen ran into the twin towers knowing they would probably not come out alive.  They had trained to run into fires when others were running out.  They did their duty to their God and their fellowman.  We saw the best of humanity on that day.  It was a glorious act of mercy to try to help others and to be with others in their hardest moments.

John 13.

31 Therefore when he had left, Jesus *said, “Now [n]is the Son of Man glorified, and God [o]is glorified in Him; 32 [p]if God is glorified in Him, God will also glorify Him in Himself, and will glorify Him immediately. 33 Little children, I am still with you a little longer. You will look for Me; and just as I said to the [q]Jews, now I also say to you: ‘Where I am going, you cannot come.’ 34 I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 By this all people will know that you are My disciples: if you have love for one another.”

2 Corinthians 5.

14 For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died; 15 and He died for all, so that those who live would no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose on their behalf.
