6.10-
God reminded me today that children should never be harmed.
We must confront and demand that no one harm
children. Obviously this includes stopping physical violence to any threat. This includes emotional,
verbal, physical and sexual abuse. This
includes making sure our hearts are pure and avoiding lust and lewdness in any
form.
This is more important than your own life unless you are a
child. This means we must try to stop
children from hurting themselves also if we can. When they get to a certain age we cannot
completely push our faith upon them but we need to do all we can to share how God's mercy has been a blessing to us.
We must push hard for change, transformational to being positive based on the mercy of God. We must have
an intervention in whatever way we can.
Of course there are limits as to how far we can help. From a spiritual perspective we cannot force anyone to accept God's grace, mercy and peace. Let's be persuasive. Let's push as far as we can to turn people around toward love.
1 Peter 5.
5 Therefore,
I urge elders among you, as your fellow elder and a witness
of the sufferings of Christ, and one who is also a [a]fellow partaker of the
glory that is to be revealed: 2 shepherd the flock of God among you,
exercising oversight, not under compulsion but voluntarily, according
to the will of God; and not [b]with greed but with
eagerness; 3 nor yet as domineering over [c]those assigned to your
care, but by [d]proving to be [e]examples to the flock. 4 And when the
Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading [f]crown of glory. 5 You [g]younger men,
likewise, be subject to your elders; and all of you,
clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because God is opposed to the proud, but He gives grace to the
humble.
6 Therefore humble
yourselves under the mighty hand of God, so that He may exalt you at the proper
time, 7 having cast all your anxiety on Him,
because He cares about you.
Be willing to forgive as God has forgiven you. For anything.
Over and over in the same day. Strive to
forget if appropriate.
Walk by faith. Trust
in God’s ways and His promises.
Be humble and remember that you are an unworthy servant
saved by the grace and mercy of our loving Father in heaven. When we do the job God has called us to do in
His strength it is nothing about us but on a good day it is all about Him.
Luke 17.
Now He said to His
disciples, “It is inevitable that [a]stumbling blocks come,
but woe to one through whom they come! 2 It is better
for him if a millstone is hung around his neck and he [b]is thrown into the sea,
than that he may cause one of these little ones to [c]sin. 3 [d]Be on your guard! If
your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. 4 And if he sins
against you seven times a day, and returns to you seven times, saying, ‘I
repent,’ you shall forgive him.”
5 The
apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!” 6 But the
Lord said, “If you [e]had faith [f]the size of a
mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and be
planted in the sea’; and it would [g]obey you.
7 “Now
which of you, having a slave plowing or tending sheep, will say to him after he
comes in from the field, ‘Come immediately and recline at the table to
eat’? 8 On the contrary, will he not say to him,
‘Prepare something for me to eat, and properly [h]clothe yourself and serve
me while I eat and drink; and [i]afterward you [j]may eat and drink’? 9 He does not
thank the slave because he did the things which were commanded, does he? 10 So
you too, when you do all the things which were commanded you, say, ‘We are [k]unworthy slaves; we have
done only that which we ought to have done.’”
Be grateful for being cleansed from the leprosy of sin. Thank God every day for His forgiveness and
healing.
Grateful people are healed and made well.
9 were Cleansed,( katharizo}.
But only one was, made well, (Zozo,) saved, delivered, safe and unharmed,
restored to freedom from the heart and soul and aware of the privilege of being
a child of God, this one lived a grateful life by saying Thank you God and
meaning it.
