Give people "Grace and space". This a good set of words. Grace is the reality that we can be gracious and forgiving with others as God has been with us.
Space is giving people space to grow and run their own race in life. This helps us to focus our energy on our own spiritual growth in humility rather than the arrogant judgement of others.
Jesus could imagine a situation where someone would need forgiveness of the same sin against us seven times in one day. Yes we all need Grace and space.

Luke     17

17 Jesus said to his disciples: “Things that cause people to stumble are bound to come, but woe to anyone through whom they come. 2 It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble. 3 So watch yourselves.

“If your brother or sister[a] sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them. 4 Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying ‘I repent,’ you must forgive them.”

Save your political action prayers for the meeting with your win/lose political party, whether you are democrat, republican or independependent as far as I'm concerned.
