For humans to refuse to oppress others and work for freedom of self governance is not easy. Humans tend to want to yoke and force and oppress. The Jewish religion was given to this world by our Creator to tutor us to Jesus. The Jews had a yoke that they could not bear. Jesus yoke is an easy yoke because He is gentle and humble and leads with truth and grace. His yoke is easy and His burden is light at least I have found it so in my 76 years. Men Of wisdom have said that self governance is not easy and requires vigilance. Yet in another way it is the easiest yoke.

Matthew 11.

28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Acts 15

10 Now then, why do you try to test God by putting on the necks of Gentiles a yoke that neither we nor our ancestors have been able to bear? 11 No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are.”
