3.7- Jesus is teaching me to be open about those I love.
3.7-
Jesus is teaching me to be open about those I love. The wise man wrote that open rebuke is better than hidden love.
Proverbs 27.
5 Better is open rebuke
Than love that is concealed.
Than love that is concealed.
In order to love more openly I must live more prayerfully, watchful and gratefully.
Stretching myself to grow is both painful and joyful. In this world by walking in step in Jesus we have sincere tears, but also laughter and levity.
When we open our hearts to God and we get to know ourselves. Then our thirst for love is filled by the gushing fountain of God's love and we can be open about our love for others.
Luke 13.
6 And He began telling this parable: “A man had a fig tree which had been planted in his vineyard; and he came looking for fruit on it and did not find any. 7 And he said to the vineyard-keeper, ‘Look! For three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree [d]without finding any. Cut it down! Why does it even use up the ground?’ 8 But he answered and said to him, ‘Sir, leave it alone for this year too, until I dig around it and put in fertilizer; 9 and if it bears fruit next year, fine; but if not, cut it down.’”
