The quality of your life depends upon quality of your thoughts.
2000 years ago the teacher said "look at the birds do they worry? No."
3000 years ago a wise man wrote that the creator of all humans has set eternity in the hearts of all humans.
Worry is a thought that does not lengthen your life. A broken fisherman wrote, "Cast all your cares on your maker for he cares for you"

1 Peter 5.

6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. 7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

8 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 9 Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

Save your political action prayers for the meeting with your win/lose political party, whether you are democrat, republican or independependent as far as I'm concerned. Preach and sing the gospel but leave moral slobbery for some group that doesn't abuse children and cover it up and practices racism as a normal thing.
