I saw a couple of people interviewed these weekend who really impressed me.
A 100 year old inventor who said that it was his work inventing toys that drew families together that kept him excited about life. He was described as an optimist. His next toy invention he expected to be his best.
A lady got her bachelor's degree at age 73 but still felt she had more work to do. She got her Masters at age 90 and got a new job starting the next day. She said any day she didn't learn something was not a good day.
About 3,000 years ago these words were written "they shall still bear fruit in old age.""

Psalm 92.

12 The righteous person will [h]flourish like the palm tree,
He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
13 Planted in the house of the Lord,
They will flourish in the courtyards of our God.
14 They will still [i]yield fruit in advanced age;
They will be [j]full of sap and very green,

He is my rock, and there is no malice in Him.

 8.28- The kingdom of God is spiritual.  It is not something you can observe with physical eyes.  It takes the opening of the eyes of the heart to experience the kingdom of God.  I rememeber during the years that I was age 20 to age 24 I started to realize that the most important realities were spiritual.  I had a desire to teach things that would help people enjoy life in heaven forever when they left this earth.  I had people who believed that was a good goal for me and  helped me to be able to teach and write about the unseen realm of God's kingdom.  I'm so grateful for famiy and friends who have supported me in this work in spite of many misteps along this path in the last six decades. 8.27- When you pray it is good to be sure that you believe that is the will of God. Can you see God wanting to bless you with this? Can you imagine it happening?
