2.1-He was a teacher who taught with confidence. This comes from memories of God's power in earlier days. They believe in a God who will forgive the sins of our youth. Psalm 25.7 This forgiveness is to bond the children of God to reflecting on his ways and the consequences of sin to destroy our lives.
He called men who were courageous to work with Him. This requires self controlled and focused They remembered stories of faith when God's children overcame amazing oppression.
They helped people and healed people. They have them hope of a time of resurrection of our spiritual bodies at the end of the time on the old earth.
Those who had been helped by Jesus became servants to help others as Jesus had helped them.
Jesus wanted to move out into different cities and places to teach those who hadn't heard the good news of God's power to help people to change. God leads us to enjoy the life of truth.
Mark 1.
14 Now after John was [j]taken into custody, Jesus came into Galilee, [k]preaching the gospel of God, 15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God [l]is at hand; repent and [m]believe in the gospel.”
16 As He was going along the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon and Andrew, the brother of Simon, casting a net in the sea; for they were fishermen. 17 And Jesus said to them, “Follow Me, and I will have you become fishers of people.” 18 Immediately they left their nets and followed Him. 19 And going on a little farther, He saw [n]James the son of Zebedee, and his brother John, [o]who were also in the boat mending the nets. 20 Immediately He called them; and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men, and went away [p]to follow Him.
