9.8- What is the currency that impresses the teacher?

 9.8-

What is the currency that impresses the teacher?
Rich people think it is bigger airplane hangars with 2 jets instead of 1.
Political power junkies think it is funds raised equalling votes.
Athletes think it is the most million per year.
Influencesrs is millions of "followers"
Music sellers is number of streams.
Religious big shot televangelists think it is bigger buildings and spectator seat fillers.
The teacher was impressed with a poor widow who had dollar to her name and gave it to help the "poor".
The teacher was not impressed with wealthy donors who thought they could be justified from their messed up lives by a big money donation announced to impress the world. They have their reward. He was not impressed. That was not currency with him.
What connected with him was a broken down sinner who said, "God be merciful to me the sinner."
The teacher said, "This man is justified." The currency with God is humble trust in God and honesty of heart.

Mark 12
41 And Jesus sat down opposite the treasury, and began watching how the [w]people were putting [x]money into the treasury; and many rich people were putting in large amounts. 42 And a poor widow came and put in two [y]lepta coins, which amount to a [z]quadrans. 43 Calling His disciples to Him, He said to them, “Truly I say to you, this poor widow put in more than all [aa]the contributors to the treasury; 44 for they all put in out of their [ab]surplus, but she, out of her poverty, put in all she owned, [ac]all she had to live on.”!
