I have had several of my prayer partners for the nation on election day to let me know they were quite sure that prayer to God changes things.
Jack Farrow has taken a shift.
One of my partners is an election judge.
One called me on his One hour commute home.
Some may have thought any openness would have ruined their own purpose for the prayer.
Our Father in heaven.
Hallowed be your name.
You are King of Kings and Lord of Lord's
You establish nations and set their boundaries.
We thank You for the USA.
O God, we acknowledge You today as Lord,
We thank You for the privilege
Of being able to organize ourselves politically
And of knowing that political loyalty
Does not have to mean disloyalty to You.
We thank You for Your law, which hangs on two eternally driven nails.
Love God 100% heart, soul, mind and strength
And
Love your neighbor as yourself.
We thank You for the opportunity that this election year puts before us,
To exercise our solemn duty not only to vote,
But to influence countless others to vote.
Lord, we pray that Your people may be awakened.
Let them realize that while politics is not their
salvation,
Their response to You requires that they be light and salt.
Give all the poll workers joy, security and grace, mercy and peace.

 4.6- After a great success the is a bit of a danger that comes next. The drain of the energy in the victory event should be followed by healthy restoration through decompression, nutrition and joyful, healthy and playful events that are free from moral danger. This week I had a day of amazing "yes" answers to prayer. One event culminated 44 years of prayers for something. Then I was drained and got into a bad thought drainage ditch.  6.10- The Power of Keeping a Confidence I have a close friend who started listening to my confidential words 46 years ago. He guards his lips and preserves secrets and deep friendship. He does not speak rashly. He doesn't add shame to the bad things l have experienced. He reduces my burdens by his grace. He has good judgement regarding when to speak and when to remain silent. This gives him good long term friends and deep joy.
