For a Christmas gift this year I received comfort in an amazing cardboard box. There was Christmas card. A comforter /lap blanket and soothing cream lotion for dry cracked skin and some peppermints.
I was thankful them, but exactly who did this for me. As far as their individual names it was a secret between them and God. They did not do it so their name would be recognized. They did it for me and God. A little secret between us.
Heaven comes down and lies with us in secret acts of mercy.
This cool morning I'm celebrating this heavenly comfort. I'm warm and my cracked skin is healing.
My teacher says Blessed are the poor in spirit. Theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

6 “Take care not to practice your righteousness in the sight of people, to be noticed by them; otherwise you have no reward with your Father who is in heaven.

 9.7- The long prayers about not electing anyone who doesn't support babies in the womb but unwilling to support and educate them for the next 18 years. Save your political action prayers for the meeting with your win/lose political party, whether you are democrat, republican or independependent as far as I'm concerned. Preach and sing the gospel but leave moral slobbery for some group that doesn't abuse children and cover it up and practices racism as a normal thing.  7.1- In times when the world seems upside down. In perilous times. People love themselves more than their family or their country. Those in positions requiring generosity are found to be selfish hoarders. People supposed to be humble servants are boastful. Where there should natural affection for family and friends it is absent. These times include men of God being exposed as phoney predators and liars. These call evil good and good evil. What can we do to find a place to stand? Remember those who have shown the love and kindness of God to you? What was the guidance and power in their life? What kind of finish did they have in their life?
