In January, 2012, I decided that with God's help I would answer the question on fb every day.
What is on my mind?
35 months ago today Sheila went to be with her creator. The beautiful red haired beauty i met on ACC campus was picked by Jesus to be with him.
We were more different than any couple we knew well. I was country, she was city. I was North Texas she was South Texas. She was nice and quiet in public spaces. I was loud and talkative everywhere. She thought why? I thought why not?
We had passion for each other from the beginning to the end. Our marriage was not perfect but were were perfectly in need of God's grace, mercy and peace daily.
I heard a man say about marriage, "The world's view of marriage is that you marry the ideal.Then you see the real deal and it becomes an ordeal.then you go looking for a new deal"
Jesus teaches a man needs to leave his mother and father and be united with his wife, in one flesh. That is a beautiful bond as we see in Song of Solomon and places in the Bible.
So on this day I thank God for marriage and memories God has given to Sheila and me. For you who have prayed and comforted and shared our journey. We love you.

 8.26- God expects His children to forgive people who say they have repented and to do so over and over. He certainly is a forgiving God. He has great love and patience with His children. He is compassionate. He is gracious. he is slow to anger.  He is abounding in love.  4.25- Have you had a Doctor of nurse that changed you life.  I have.  I broke my ankle on this date twenty years ago.  I went to a specialist who did not have a very good bedside manner, but he helped to adjust to my new reality.  He said, "I have some good news for you and some bad news for you. The bad news is that you will never run and play sports like you have in the past after this event.  I am going to get you connected with a good man who will fix you a perfect orthodic for your ankle and fit you with braces and you will not have great pain and you will be able to walk effectively. By being blunt and honest with me and not giving me false hope he actually helped me.  He did that and I have been able to walk ever since and for is help as well as his nursing staff.   I should mention teachers and coaches and principals who helped us rear our children.
