7.11-Jesus as a healer and God the Father stands for justice to bring order to the world.

7.11 Psalm 119.7 6  Then I shall not be ashamed When I look [ d ] upon all Your commandments. Matthew 8 reminds us that:  Jesus is a healer.  Some of our sickness is because of our choices and some is not. We don't know so to pray and be quiet is generally best.  To try to bless and heal is our role. Jesus removes fever from the sick. The lamb of God takes away sin and fills our hearts with joy.  He is the fulfillment of God's plans to free His children from guilt and shame and give them a guide to a great life. Jesus heals long distance. Jesus heals those with mental problems.  He is powerful and unafraid to go where others would not go.  He interacts and blesses. Jesus is unafraid of storms because He knows the Father's love and power.  People's vengeance is a bad storm, but God's justice through the proper authority is calm and order and leads to peace.  He is bold to promise that He will stand up for consequences for tho...

7.10-Jesus Today, Storms in a River Raft

Image
Today 23 years ago today. Written 7.10.17 Sunday, 7.10. 94,  23 years ago today.   I remember riding up to Buena Vista, Colorado to River Runners at Brown’s Canyon. We had some time to eat lunch and play around a while. Some guys grabbed some girls and pushed them into the river and some of the girls liked it and some didn’t as I recall. No harm was done there. Just teens having fun with each other. We had some sandwiches and chips for lunch. Then we loaded into the rafts to get some basic instructions on how to paddle when we were asked to do so to keep the rafts going where they were supposed to go. The river was extremely high and there had been a couple of drownings that year in this river as I recalled. This caused us to listen closely to the instructions of our guide. We started as a team and listening to our guide for our survival depended upon it. The scenery was different and glorious. The sun was shining bright and the temperature...

7.10-Everyone of us falls short of the target of best we could be. We can't handle justice from a holy God we need mercy and grace.

7.10- All of us who read these ideas of Jesus and sincerely think about them know that we fall short of them.   God’s relationship with His children is based on forgiveness and mercy.   It is grace and mercy that God pours out to us.   Transformation is powered by   God’s steadfast love for His children which never ceases. God wants everyone to be saved and the only way that can happen is by the grace and mercy of God.   Paul opens many of his letters to the people with the idea that God sends His grace and mercy. 1 Timothy 1. 1  Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus according to the commandment of God our Savior, and of Christ Jesus, who is our hope, 2  To Timothy, my true child in the faith: Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord. 1 Timothy 2. 2  First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, 2  for kings and all who are i...

7.9- God can overcome evil with good.

7.9 Saw on television the largest Rose bush in the world (Tombstone AZ) is feed on sewage.  The most beautiful thing is used by God to remind us of His power.  He can take raw, smelly sewage and grow the most beauty.  He teaches us to overcome evil with good. He used a cruel cross, the most ugly death. Then His awesome power. Then the resurrection.  The most glorious hope ever. Romans 5. 6  For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. 7  For one will hardly die for a righteous man; [ d ] though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die. 8  But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9  Much more then, having now been justified [ e ] by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. 10  For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we s...

7.8-Marriage from God's point of view is meant to be delayed until God joins a couple together, heart and soul. Then it must be fought for.

7.8- Keep a pure heart.   Do not allow your mind to drift into lust.   When it happens seek forgiveness from God and reset to pure thoughts. Matthew 5. 27  “You have heard that it was said, ‘ You shall not commit adultery ’; 28  but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29  If your right eye makes you [ w ] stumble, tear it out and throw it from you; for it is better for you [ x ] to lose one of the parts of your body, [ y ] than for your whole body to be thrown into [ z ] hell. 30  If your right hand makes you [ aa ] stumble, cut it off and throw it from you; for it is better for you [ ab ] to lose one of the parts of your body, [ ac ] than for your whole body to go into [ ad ] hell. 1 Thessalonians 4. 4  Finally then, brethren, we request and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received from us instruction as to how you ought to [ a ] walk and pl...
