14 Rules for Teachers to Prepare for 2014.

-

  1. Surround yourself with healthy, growing  life long learners.
  2. Accept the downside of being a public teacher.  Criticism.
  3. Pray for your critics but do not stay with them.  Move on.
  4. Be bold about what choices you know are destructive.  There is good and evil.
  5. Pray for good timing.  When the student is ready the teacher will appear. 
  6. Do not fear the criticism of bigots.
  7. Do not get your value from what people think about you. Popularity, celebrity and favor of the people comes and goes.  Work to please the One who created you to be a teacher.
  8. Teach in such a way that it never matters if you have a smart phone recording you any time and any place.
  9. Challenge p.c. thinking with undeniable  truth.
  10. Do not make quick judgments about people.  Be reflective.
  11. Be honest with people about core problems.
  12. Use every opportunity for our teaching time is short.
  13. Drink deeply of the great teacher, Jesus.  You will never run out of material.
  14. Do not follow arrogant "know it all"s.

8.19- If we suffer for doing wrong things that is normal and teaches us to stop doing that.

 8.19- If we suffer for doing wrong things that is normal and teaches us to stop doing that. Murder or even anger and hate are not proper for us. Embezelling, shoplifting and all stealing causes fine, jail and other trouble. Mature people we are taught to not even be "meddler" or "busybody in other people's business." God help us to Stay in our own lane. And Keep our eyes on your own paper. Let us Be quick to hear and slow to speak. I need to quit judging people start loving people instead. Now if we do right and get suffering for doing right then we can have joy in that suferrig. 1 Peter 4 15  If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler.   16  However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name.

 8.31- You can find someone to tell you what you want to hear. RIt could be a palm reader. It could be an astrologer. It could be a crooked peddler of expensive vitamins. It could be a televangist who sells you a packet of water for a $10 donation. You  will not overcome the reality that it is appointed once to man to die and then comes the judgement. How we live in this life has consequences in the next life. Jesus teaches that those who are adopted into the family of God will not be condemned in the next life.
