You might be a Pharisee if….

-You are someone who is distracting Jesus' followers from being compassionate with people in need.

-You are someone who adds extra burdens to people who are hurting.

-You are someone who is not concerned about growth and change.

-You are someone who wants to be comfortable.

-You are someone who doesn’t want to deal with pain and suffering.

-You are someone who worries about following the rules of their religious group more than following Jesus.

-You are someone who wants to be in the majority.

-You are someone who doesn’t reveal your inner self.

-You are someone who wants to be first.  You are win/lose rather than win/win.

-You are someone who likes divide and conquer scenarios.

-You are someone who doesn't  interrupt your opponent when he/she is shooting themselves in the foot.

 4.24- Spiritual growth with God happens most commonly in times of intense stress and suffering. Scripture indicates the best prayers are honest conversations between God and some of His children.  Moses. Jonah.
