Be bold and unafraid of doing the right thing regardless of what people think.

Favorite Verse: Mark 3.3
He *said to the man with the withered hand, “Get up and come forward!”

Thought for the day:

Jesus had to overcome problems with religion as practiced in His day.  They were more concerned about their traditions than they were about people.  Jesus was interested in pleasing His heavenly Father and helping people.  He called the man in Mark 3 to rise and come forward.  He was not going against their tradition in a back room in a secret way.  He did this in a room full of religious bigots.  This same text says that He looked at them with anger because of their hard hearts.  The actions and reactions we are called to do are based on loving our fellowman as ourselves and being bold and unafraid of what religious hypocrites think about it.  In some of our teaching in camps in the Ukraine there were moments that the local powers did not want us there, but we kept helping the children to learn about God's love.
