5.4b-We are born for trouble and a hot mess. How can we be made healthy and ok?
5.4b
Watching gravity work to make water flow downhill. Principles of living on planet earth seen in watching 150 years of family life.
We seem born for trouble at times and indeed humans are a messy mess, but God wants everyone to be saved and to turn our mess into a message.
We learn and we teach Jesus' red letter teaching. We see that we need to be careful about setting aside God's commands given through Jesus in a perfect way and time.
We care about honoring and supporting our parents. We do not allow the wickedness of this world to trap us into hardening our hearts and shrinking our souls. Evil thoughts, pornography, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, obscenity, envy, slander, arrogance and foolish is pumped into the eyes and ears of the world, we will try to screen out the unhealthy things.
We know that staying close to a Holy God and a perfect Son Jesus seems to be impossible, because we are a "hot mess". At times we seem born for trouble.
But God is love. He wants everyone saved so He gave His Son Jesus to save us from the guilt and power of our sin.
Matthew 1.
21 She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus,[f] because he will save his people from their sins.”
22 All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: 23 “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”[g] (which means “God with us”).
Romans 5.
9 Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him! 10 For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! 11 Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

Romans 5.
5 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we[a] have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we[b] boast in the hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only so, but we[c] also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
6 You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. 7 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.9 Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him! 10 For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! 11 Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.
