Sheila and I are so thankful to God for His blessings this month. We have received His mercy and grace to celebrate life together. We fall at the feet of Jesus to thank His name. My journal entry today:
Luke 17.
11 Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee. 12 As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy[b] met him. They stood at a distance 13 and called out in a loud voice, “Jesus, Master, have pity on us!”
14 When he saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed.
15 One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. 16 He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan.
17 Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? 18 Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?” 19 Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”

On Thursday, August 31, 2017 we celebrated the 50th
Anniversary of our Wedding Rehearsal Dinner in Amarillo, Texas on our way to
Colorado Springs, Denver and Bayfield Colorado to Celebrate our 50th
with Colorado friends with whom we had experienced 33 of those years.
We came home for 13 days and rested up a bit and headed back
out for the second half of our 50th Anniversary tour.
On Friday, October 6th about 6.20 P.M. we drove
back into our garage after finishing our 50th Anniversary tour with
the second half of our trip to Atlanta, Cookeville, Pidgeon Forge and
Gatlinburg Tennessee.
In between these times we celebrated this milestone on FB,
Instagram, Twitter, the Blog and cards and calls with many of you. We had safe travel over all those miles. We were passed by 1,000’s of 18 wheelers and
we passed some of them back. Only one
honked at me when I got in front of him and tapped my brakes. The drivers we encountered were courteous and
friendly. Many people in the places of
business and hotels and restaurants wished us safe travel.
We have much to be thankful for and safe travel and many
lovely people and amazing sights along the way which we will share in time on
FB.
