6.3.18-About Sexual Abuse and Cover Up in the "Church"

About Sexual Abuse and the Cover Up in the “Church”
There is a feeling of mourning in
my heart this morning. It is for all the
children and women and men who have been sexually abused.
I am especially grieved if this happened
in a family setting or a church setting.
I am outraged if this happened and
the congregation or denomination, Catholic or Southern Baptist, or any other
“Christian” group tried to cover it up instead of expose it to the light of
truth.
I pray that God will heal, comfort
and strengthen them to push toward justice.
I hope and pray the perpetrators
will be exposed, ashamed and repent to push for judgment and justice.
May God have mercy on those who
sincerely confess and repent and zealously get busy doing the right thing
before God and man.
God has judgment in death for those
who did these things and do not repent, tell the truth and pay the debt they
owe.
The so called “Church Leaders” who
break God’s commands to protect the abused and who keep teaching this way will
be dealt with by the true Christians and/or the law courts and/or God Himself
in death and judgment.
Reconciliation with a person who
sexually abused a person is not to be done in a secret meeting with one so
called, “church leader.” It is to be
done with proper legal authorities whom God has appointed. With proper evidence collected rather than
hidden by a so called “church leader”.
To properly love all people
including enemies is to stand and tell the truth and be protected while doing so
in order that others may be protected.
Yes, forgiveness is our calling,
but not without standing up for the truth and protecting others.
Yes, God is the ultimate judge.
We are not to forget that God has
appointed the authorities. The
police. The sheriff. The attorney. The Judge. These are appointed to carry out justice
rather than vigilante justice or the perpetrator’s suicide.
We must encourage the sexually
abused to go to the authorities and stand with them and help pay the money for
the stand for justice with our own money and time. This is what it means to stand for justice
and righteousness.
We should mourn and be alarmed at
the destruction of the good name of the true church which has been teaching
Jesus truth for 2,000 years. We must change
and move to honesty and strength.
We should call out the false, weak,
cover up lying men who are destroying the good will of people who truly are seeking
help from God’s true people.
We must alert men and women and
children to not accept sexual abuse and rape as acceptable and to be covered up
by so called “church leaders”.
We must watch out for false
prophets and fake priests and phony preachers, seminary professors and arrogant
bishops, cardinals and popes.
You will know a tree by its fruits.
Not all people who claim to be
sheep who are following Jesus. Some are
wolves in sheep’s clothing. Some wear
three-piece suits and robes and funny hats who should be wearing sackcloth and
ashes.
