5.4-Do you do anything that is evil?

5.4-

 How long has it been since you have had an evil thought?

How long since you said something about someone when they weren't there to defend themselves that they might wish you hadn't said.

I suspect that most reading this don't have to admit to some of the other things Jesus said were in human hearts.  What ever is in our hearts that shouldn't be must be cleared up with forgiveness, grace and God's mercy.

Matthew 15.
16 “Are you still so dull?” Jesus asked them. 17 “Don’t you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? 18 But the things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart, and these defile them. 19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. 20 These are what defile a person; but eating with unwashed hands does not defile them.”

Save your political action prayers for the meeting with your win/lose political party, whether you are democrat, republican or independependent as far as I'm concerned. Preach and sing the gospel but leave moral slobbery for some group that doesn't abuse children and cover it up and practices racism as a normal thing.
