Love your beloved friends lavishly when you can.
Love the poor always.

John 12.

12 Jesus, therefore, six days before the Passover, came to Bethany where Lazarus was, whom Jesus had raised from the dead. 2 So they made Him a supper there, and Martha was serving; but Lazarus was one of those reclining at the table with Him. 3 Mary then took a [a]pound of very costly perfume of pure nard, and anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped His feet with her hair; and the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume. 4 But Judas Iscariot, one of His disciples, who was intending to [b]betray Him, *said, 5 “Why was this perfume not sold for [c]three hundred denarii and given to poor people?” 6 Now he said this, not because he was concerned about the poor, but because he was a thief, and as he had the money box, he used to pilfer what was put into it. 7 Therefore Jesus said, “Let her alone, so that she may keep [d]it for the day of My burial. 8 For you always have the poor with you, but you do not always have Me.”

You provided in Your goodness for the poor, O God.

 8.28- The kingdom of God is spiritual.  It is not something you can observe with physical eyes.  It takes the opening of the eyes of the heart to experience the kingdom of God.  I rememeber during the years that I was age 20 to age 24 I started to realize that the most important realities were spiritual.  I had a desire to teach things that would help people enjoy life in heaven forever when they left this earth.  I had people who believed that was a good goal for me and  helped me to be able to teach and write about the unseen realm of God's kingdom.  I'm so grateful for famiy and friends who have supported me in this work in spite of many misteps along this path in the last six decades. 8.27- When you pray it is good to be sure that you believe that is the will of God. Can you see God wanting to bless you with this? Can you imagine it happening?
