9.27-The cross of Jesus is the magnet that draws people who are saved to God.

9.27-

We know that the cross where Jesus is lifted up is the magnet that draws people.

We walk in the light of Jesus love.  God pours out grace, mercy and peace on us. 

John 12.

²⁷ “Now My soul has become troubled; and what shall I say, ‘Father, save Me from this hour’? But for this purpose I came to this hour. ²⁸ Father, glorify Your name.” Then a voice came out of heaven: “I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.” ²⁹ So the crowd of people who stood by and heard it were saying that it had thundered; others were saying, “An angel has spoken to Him.” ³⁰ Jesus answered and said, “This voice has not come for My sake, but for your sakes. ³¹ Now judgment is upon this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out. ³² And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself.” ³³ But He was saying this to indicate the kind of death by which He was to die. ³⁴ The crowd then answered Him, “We have heard out of the Law that ^[l]the Christ is to remain forever; and how can You say, ‘The Son of Man must be lifted up’? Who is this Son of Man?” ³⁵ So Jesus said to them, “For a little while longer the Light is among you. Walk while you have the Light, so that darkness will not overtake you; he who walks in the darkness does not know where he goes. ³⁶ While you have the Light, believe in the Light, so that you may become sons of Light.”

2 Timothy 1,1,2   

1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus ^[a]by the will of God, according to the promise of life in Christ Jesus,

² To Timothy, my beloved ^[b]son: Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.

This keeps us free from shame.  

 Psalm 119.80

⁸⁰ May my heart be ^[ai]blameless in Your statutes,
So that I will not be ashamed.

 

This can power all kinds of growth.  Love Jesus with passion and growth in knowledge and understanding grows.

²³ And having spent some time there, he left and passed successively through the Galatian region and Phrygia, strengthening all the disciples.
²⁴ Now a Jew named Apollos, an Alexandrian by birth, ^[d]an eloquent man, came to Ephesus; and he was mighty in the Scriptures. ²⁵ This man had been instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in spirit, he was speaking and teaching accurately the things concerning Jesus, being acquainted only with the baptism of John; ²⁶ and ^[e]he began to speak out boldly in the synagogue. But when Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately. ²⁷ And when he wanted to go across to Achaia, the brethren encouraged him and wrote to the disciples to welcome him; and when he had arrived, he greatly ^[f]helped those who had believed through grace, ²⁸ for he powerfully refuted the Jews in public, demonstrating by the Scriptures that Jesus was the ^[g]Christ.
