10.4-What side of the boat are you fishing on?
10.4-
What side of the boat are you fishing on?
When I'm not succeeding in my relationships with people I ask myself sometimes "What is going wrong here?"
There are a couple of sides of the boat I can fish on. The take things for granted side. The judgemental side. Keep doing things the way I have been doing them with the same attitude and same zeal or I can change.

There are a couple of sides of the boat I can fish on. The take things for granted side. The judgemental side. Keep doing things the way I have been doing them with the same attitude and same zeal or I can change.
The other side of the boat
is available. The love side of the boat. The side of the boat where I
don't take things for granted. I don't judge, but rather love. I think
about what is the loving approach. What is love? Love is patient,
kind, not jealous, does not brag, is not arrogant, is not easily
provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice
in evil, rejoices in the truth, bears all things, believes all things,
hopes all things, endures all things. Love is that which never fails. It
never comes up empty.
Every time things change for the better because I have chosen to fish on the other side of the boat.
John 21.
1 Corinthians 13.
4 Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, 5 does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, 6 does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 7 [b]bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8 Love never fails;

John 21.
21 After these things Jesus [a]manifested Himself again to the disciples at the Sea of Tiberias, and He manifested Himself in this way. 2 Simon Peter, and Thomas called [b]Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two others of His disciples were together. 3 Simon
Peter *said to them, “I am going fishing.” They *said to him, “We will
also come with you.” They went out and got into the boat; and that night they caught nothing.
4 But when the day was now breaking, Jesus stood on the beach; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. 5 So Jesus *said to them, “Children, you do not have [c]any fish, do you?” They answered Him, “No.” 6 And He said to them, “Cast the net on the right-hand side of the boat and you will find a catch.” So they cast, and then they were not able to haul it in because of the great number of fish.1 Corinthians 13.
