3.17-One turned one piece of this money into ten.

3.17-

Section Three:

Jesus tells the story of a King of a certain place who was going to be gone for a while and so gave three people some money.  One turned one piece of this money into ten.  He used wisdom and hard work.  He might have been given exceptional gifts of a brilliant mind, a healthy body, an outstanding set of examples in his family.  We are not told why, but he did an excellent job to turn one into ten.

Luke 19.

¹⁶ The first appeared, saying, ‘^[i]Master, your ^[j]mina has made ten minas more.’ ¹⁷ And he said to him, ‘Well done, good slave, because you have been faithful in a very little thing, you are to be in authority over ten cities.’ 

1 Timothy 6.

¹⁷ Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy. ¹⁸ Instruct them to do good, to be rich in good ^[m]works, to be generous and ready to share, ¹⁹ storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is life indeed.
²⁰ O Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to you, avoiding worldly and empty chatter and the opposing arguments of what is falsely called “knowledge”— ²¹ which some have professed and thus gone astray ^[n]from the faith.

2 Timothy 2.
²⁰ Now in a large house there are not only gold and silver vessels, but also vessels of wood and of earthenware, and some to honor and some to dishonor. ²¹ Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from these things, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work.
