I have noticed this about successful people.
They focus on spreading good news to those around them.
They believe that mental, emotional and spiritual growth is important.
They work to keep their conscience clean.
They are very effective at serving people in a way that gives them joy as an extra bonus in addition to the needed service.
They share whatever they have.
They are content.
They don’t consider themselves strong in their own strength, but strong in God’s strength in them.
They are not trying to be like everyone else, not the opposite of everyone else, but simply they best they can be.

Save your political action prayers for the meeting with your win/lose political party, whether you are democrat, republican or independependent as far as I'm concerned. Preach and sing the gospel but leave moral slobbery for some group that doesn't abuse children and cover it up and practices racism as a normal thing.
