11.12- “Lord O Mercy”

“Lord O Mercy”
It wasn’t your fault Madison.
I came up to the Walmart pick up in a good mood I thought. I dialed 817-3*0-9861 I got a recorder with a generic greeting. I told the recorder I was there at number 6 and ready for my pick up order for Larry Wishard.
There were two cars when I got there.
They were served.
Then another car came up and was waited on. Then another. Humm.
When the lady came out the next time, I got her attention. “Maam I called and got your recorder. I have been here quite a while (twelve minutes) and wondered if something had gone wrong.
She said, “We don’t have a recorder, but I will go get your order next.”
“Thanks.”
Then my phone rings. It is Evelyn who is a real estate agent. “I think you dialed my number thinking it was the Walmart number.”
I said, “I’m sorry."
She replied, "It happens all the time.”
“Thanks.”
817-3*0-9861 instead of the correct number 817-3*0-9681. I had transposed the numbers all three times I dialed it.
The Walmart lady came out with my groceries.
She said, “I checked with the woman who carries that phone and she said no one had called since last night.”
“I am sorry. I was calling the wrong number.”
“No, problem.”
She put the groceries in the back of the car and I looked at her mask and it had four letters on it.
“L-O-V-E”
I said, “What is your name please?”
“Madison.”
“Have a good day, Madison.”
“You, too.” she said.
“Lord have mercy.”
I need to turn down my emotional temperature. I don’t know if it is being locked down for nine months or my own selfish, impatient attitude that has always been with me.
“Lord O Mercy."
Romans 12.
12 Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, [a]acceptable to God, which is your [b]spiritual service of worship. 2 And do not be conformed to this [c]world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may [d]prove what the will of God is, that which is good and [e]acceptable and perfect.
