12.31- Healthy humans get angry and grieved at each other.
12.31-
Healthy humans get angry and grieved at each other. That is not wrong. What is important is that we think, feel and reveal what we are thinking and feeling to help each other be all we can be.
If someone whom we love reveals to us that they are angry and grieved at our hardness of heart it is important to pray and reflect on what they are saying. They could be an instrument of God to try to help us as a son or daughter of God. It could be an important warning to keep us from hurting ourselves and others further.
Mark 3.
3 He entered a synagogue again; and a man was there whose hand was withered. 2 And they were watching Him [a]closely to see if He would heal him on the Sabbath, so that they might accuse Him. 3 He *said to the man with the withered hand, “[b]Get up and come forward!” 4 And He *said to them, “Is it lawful to do good on the Sabbath or to do harm, to save a life or to kill?” But they kept silent. 5 After looking around at them with anger, grieved at their hardness of heart, He *said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he stretched it out, and his hand was restored. 6 The Pharisees went out and immediately began [c]conspiring with the Herodians against Him, as to how they might put Him to death.
Ephesians 4.
25 Therefore, ridding yourselves of falsehood, speak truth each one of you with his neighbor, because we are parts of one another. 26 Be angry, and yet do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, 27 and do not give the devil [t]an opportunity. 28 The one who steals must no longer steal; but rather he must labor, producing with his own hands what is good, so that he will have something to share with the one who has need. 29 Let no [u]unwholesome word come out of your mouth, but if there is any good word for edification [v]according to the need of the moment, say that, so that it will give grace to those who hear. 30 Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, [w]by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 All bitterness, wrath, anger, [x]clamor, and slander must be removed from you, along with all malice. 32 Be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven [y]you.
