9.16- John 1. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.

 9.16-

John 1.
4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome[a] it.
John 3.
19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.
There are some people who live by the truth and they come into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.
These people make a big impact on us for several reasons, but one is because they are so truthful with themselves and others.
It can be said that they live by the truth.
These people are very brave. Some of them have had hard training in life from childhood. Others have had bad encounters with adults as children. Some of them have been through the blind alley disappointments and frustrations of reaching out to people in love and being rejected.
When they see love that has overcome the darkness with the light they are drawn to that. They then want to take the light of this love into the darkness of and shine their light. It’s like the children’s song, “This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine.”
These unusual people will go to the powerless, the children, the poor, the prisoners, the discouraged, the broken and overwhelmed in their life and they will bring light into their dark lives.
These people are never forgotten.
