9.17b- Several outcomes possible when someone is sick.

 9.17b-

Several outcomes possible when someone is sick.
The body can overcome the sickness by its own natural healing powers. Cleaning out the issue through time and proper eating, drinking and rest can accelerate the healing process. A positive attitude and faith in that probable outcome helps.
There can be this plus the prayers of righteous men and women.
There can be this plus a touch from Jesus, the healer.
There can be this outcome, but another outcome is a sickness that precedes a move from earth to the other side. I have met a few people who seemed to be quite healthy physically, but from a spiritual perspective they were already having a kind of life that I would call an Eternal Kind of life. Jesus referred to these people who believed in Him as "having eternal life". These people seem to living in heaven while they are still on earth. They have, present tense, eternal life in their heart and soul.
Sheila would refer to these kind of people as “living on the other side.”
Jesus heard his friend Lazrus was sick. He didn’t go to heal him immediately. He knew that this sickness was not meant to be the end of his life. When he got there he had been dead for four days. He called him out of the grave and when he came out He told the people to take off his grave clothes and let him be completely free. This caused the local religious/political leaders to want to kill him.
Eventually, all human beings will move from earth to the other realm.
This is made even more clear as we lose the “queens” in our own lives.
The lesson to me is live each day fully with love in your heart for God and all people. Use each day to serve as fully as you can. Do not waste the time you have in quarreling, arguing or wasting your life in the pursuit of wealth or excess.

John 5.

24 “Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life. 25 Very truly I tell you, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live. 26 For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself. 27 And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man.

These people seem to have, present tense, eternal life in their head and heart and live it daily.  These people are blessed and are a blessing.
