 12.14-

NCTBO
I learned lessons from football. From 1957 to 1964 I was directly involved with the Ladonia Rattler junior high football team then Fannindel Falcons high school team. I enjoyed the pep rally. I loved being part of a team. I liked the game time team entrance and warm up loosening up exercises. I liked being in good health and shape. I liked winning.
I did not like being a booking dummy half the time. I did not like laps, winsprints, gasers and breaking my ankle over and over.
The best of all was learning to never quit. Quit quitting.
NCTBO
You can be hard pressed hard pressed on every side but not crushed.
Perplexed but not in despair.
I loved pulling for the Atlanta Falcons in their Super Bowl game. But they lost. Tom Brady and his team did not quit.
55 regular season game winning drives.
14 playoff game winning drives.
Tom Brady has gone through some hard things, mother had cancer. Marriage difficulty. Many things have gone wrong. But in one of hardest games he refuses to quit.
It happened again last night. Tampa and Brady pulled ahead of the Saints with 3 seconds left.
If you have things against you. Never quit.
NCTBO
Never count Tom Brady out.

2 Corinthianbs 6.

We put no stumbling block in anyone’s path, so that our ministry will not be discredited. Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance; in troubles, hardships and distresses; in beatings, imprisonments and riots; in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger; in purity, understanding, patience and kindness; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love; in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left; through glory and dishonor, bad report and good report; genuine, yet regarded as impostors; known, yet regarded as unknown; dying, and yet we live on; beaten, and yet not killed; 10 sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything.

11 We have spoken freely to you, Corinthians, and opened wide our hearts to you. 12 We are not withholding our affection from you, but you are withholding yours from us. 13 As a fair exchange—I speak as to my children—open wide your hearts also.
