Look magazine. Do you remember it?

Great teachers call us to be more full of faith than religious bigshots. They generally did minimums to be good citzens. The Bible says Do things with all your heart. Whatever your hands find to do, do it with excellence and whole heartedness.

I heard a story about the end of Look magazine. They had a meeting about a year before the end before the magazine had to close. The leaders called a meeting of all the employees in the New York office. They appealed to them to make an all out effort to give the best to save all their jobs. They answered questions about what could be done to help.

Toward the end of the meeting someone raised their hand with an urgent question. The CEO asked, "Last question for today, What is on your mind?"

"When are they going to get half and half creamer for the coffee carts coming up to the 13th floor?"

Excellent focus and working wholeheartedly is the path to success.

Matthew 5.

17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. 19 Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.
