People who are healers of the body and spirit must be people of truth. When a person Hears for the first time that he or she has cancer, it is critical that this is the correct diagnosis. A truthful doctor who puts his/her patients before their own comfort. Sheila and I saw last year how important the truth is.
Professions that demanded liars and exaggeraters instead of truthtellers were not respected by the community where I grew up. Televangelist, car salesmen, politicians, teachers, coaches and ministers who lied and who had to move often were just some of these professional liars we were warned about.
Some forms of communication become suspect by their nature. Christmas letters that tell about a perfect year and social media is a dangerous temptation lie but with raw truth with good news can be an encouragement.
Yesterday I heard of a medical doctor who told the truth to a man who had cancer that had spread that he should face the real possibility of his death. He told him how to get spiritual help for moving from this realm and the man followed his guidance shortly became prepared to be healed in this realm or the other. What a doctor.

John 8.
44 You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Save your political action prayers for the meeting with your win/lose political party, whether you are democrat, republican or independependent as far as I'm concerned.
