12.7- Do I find satisfaction in my food?
12.7-
Do I find satisfaction in my food? Cherry jelly and peanut butter sandwiches are hard to beat for breakfast on holidays.
Do we have work?
Can we walk and move our arms and legs without pain?
I heard of a church leader today who required a lung transplant at 66 and couldn't be even put on the list. He passed at peace with God.
Another friend, about the same age, received a lung transplant and is doing well.
Are we as thankful as we should be to be able to breath? I am not.
Have we been blessed with wealth and the ability to enjoy it? Does our life allow us a balance of work and rest that pushes us be at our best each day?
Is our neighborhood quiet, peaceful and friendly? If so we are blessed.
On good days we don't take these for granted.
Ecc. 5.
18 Here is what I have seen to be good and [r]fitting: to eat, to drink, and [s]enjoy oneself in all one’s labor in which he labors under the sun during the few [t]years of his life which God has given him; for this is his [u]reward. 19 Furthermore, as for every person to whom God has given riches and wealth, He has also given him the opportunity to [v]enjoy them and to receive his [w]reward and rejoice in his labor; this is the gift of God. 20 For he will not often call to mind the [x]years of his life, because God keeps [y]him busy with the joy of his heart.
