2.7-
About seventeen years ago I read a set of words that seemed very important to me. Christian men commonly got together for breakfast as a fellowship where the age of the men was not the same. Their jobs were not the same. What Christians have had in common for 2,000 plus years is the same hope.
They hoped that with God's help they could improve their lives by sharing words that increased joy among all and everyone felt welcome.
Seventeen years later this hope is even more important to me and so are these men.
Acts 2.
43 [at]Everyone kept feeling a sense of awe; and many wonders and [au]signs were taking place through the apostles. 44 And all the believers [av]were together and had all things in common; 45 and they would sell their property and possessions and share them with all, to the extent that anyone had need. 46 Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread [aw]from house to house, they were taking their [ax]meals together with gladness and [ay]sincerity of heart, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding to [az]their number day by day those who were being saved.
