1.19- Your life is set by what you pursue.

 1.19-

Your life is set by what you pursue.  If you pursue fame and celebrity and money then that will give a certain outcome.

Religious people can often get to pursuing money and power instead of a desire to help the people.  This shows up in some cases in political seasons.  It shows up on radio and television religion.  It shows up one computers and websites and podcasts.  People become more interested in division and hate and name calling instead of trying to benefit those in need.

The answer to improvement involve in refocus on one's pursuit. Rightousness. Godliness. Faith. Love. Perseverance. Gentleness.  These are good pursuits. This will lead to a life of grace and mercy and peace.

1 Timothy 6

11 But flee from these things, you man of God, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, [j]perseverance, and gentleness. 12 Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and for which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. 13 I direct you in the presence of God, who [k]gives life to all things, and of Christ Jesus, who testified the good confession before Pontius Pilate, 14 that you keep the commandment without [l]fault or reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 which He will [m]bring about at the proper time—He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of [n]kings and Lord of [o]lords, 16 who alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom [p]no one has seen or can see. To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen.
