1.11-Happiness is a choice.

1.11-

I learned from watching my parents and their friends that joy is a great strength. They loved to play 42 with much humor and delight whether they won or lost. They ate often with my uncles and aunts and cousins and had people drop by all the time. It didn't matter if we had steak or scrambled eggs.

It was a delight that I was raised by parents to loved people and enjoyed being loved by people. Happiness in life is a choice. 


Some of us were raised by unhappy parents. Some were even unhappy and made more it seems by their "religion". If this is the case with you, re-parent yourself. Set an environment for yourself and those around you that is positive and encouraging.

Are you a happy person? Would your children say you are a happy person? Would those you work with every day say you are a happy person? Choose to be joyous and happy by reflecting on all the blessings God has given you today.
Philippians 4.
4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! 5 Let your gentle spirit be known to all men.  6.10- The Power of Keeping a Confidence I have a close friend who started listening to my confidential words 46 years ago. He guards his lips and preserves secrets and deep friendship. He does not speak rashly. He doesn't add shame to the bad things l have experienced. He reduces my burdens by his grace. He has good judgement regarding when to speak and when to remain silent.  4.2- The right kind of freedom versus the wrong kind of freedom. We were born to be free. This kind gives us the mastery under God to become excellent farmers and craftsmen.
