6.28- Lies. Deceit. False witness destroys life. Con games destroy deep relationships. The truth sets us free and brings life and light. The great teacher was asked to teach his students how to pray. He included this phrase. "Forgive our sins as we forgive others." Now we can be honest with ourselves and others. John 8 44  You are of  your  father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he tells  [ q ] a lie, he speaks from his own  nature , because he is a liar and the father of  [ r ] lies.   45  But because I say the truth, you do not believe Me.   46  Which one of you convicts Me of sin? If I speak truth, why do you not believe Me?   47  The one who is of God hears the words of God; for this reason you do not hear  them , because you are not of God.”

6.23- When there are things that you need or want, if you are a person who prays then there are several possible answers.

6.23- When there are things that you need or want, if you are a person who prays then there are several possible answers. "No." "Yes". "Wait." "Maybe later". "Mention that to ________". When you mention that to blank, he/she may have a good answer or know of others who would love to help. The great humans don't mind asking, "Would you give me________". John 4 7  A woman of Samaria *came to draw water. Jesus *said to her,  “Give Me a drink.”   8  For His disciples had gone away to the city to buy food.   9  So the Samaritan woman *said to Him, “How  is it that  You,  though  You are a Jew, are asking me for a drink,  though  I am a Samaritan woman?” (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.)   10  Jesus replied to her,  “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who is saying to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”   11  She *said to Him, “ [ c ] Sir, You have no

6.22- Mineshift.

6.22- Mineshift. If you woke up feeling weak and you are a child of God then you have the right to shift your mind and say "I am strong. In am in God and God is in me and so I am strong." Our identity is what sets our direction. I am strong in love. Courage. Kindness. Gentleness. I now can become all I was created to be. 2 Corinthians 5. 16  Therefore from now on we recognize no one  [ f ] by the flesh; even though we have known Christ by the flesh, yet now we know  Him in this way  no longer.   17  Therefore if anyone is in Christ,  this person is  a new  [ g ] creation; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.   18  Now all  these  things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation,   19  namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their wrongdoings against them, and  [ h ] He has  [ i ] committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20  Therefore, we are ambassadors fo

6.21- There have always been good lessons to be learned from the Olympics.

6.21- There have always been good lessons to be learned from the Olympics. Ancient words have taught from them. Paul wrote to not flail about In the the fight of life, but aim carefully and win the battle over yourself through the grace of God. College, pro and Olympic athletes have a danger. If the pursuit is spiritual wisdom first and then physical discipline and success then life can go well. But if the pursuit is celebrity, money and fame first then these things can easily destroy anyone without guardrails in their life. Wisdom will lead to good financial wisdom Money will not lead necessarily to good wisdom. All of us fall short of being all we could be and need. Grace. Pray for famous people caught in a destructive indiscetion. Proverbs 15. 16  How much better it is to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding is to be chosen above silver. 6.20- "My father was there.

6.20- "My father was there. He went to work at eight and came home and five. He had no hobbies except to care for his family and the yard and garden. He was there." quote from early morning radio talk host about his father. Ephesians 6. 6  Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.   2  Honor your father and mother  (which is the first commandment with a promise),   3  so that it may turn out well for you, and that you may live long on the earth . 4  Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. 6.19- Facebook has opened doors for a better understanding of different religions.

6.19- Facebook has opened doors for a better understanding of different religions. Yesterday the men's study group included some amazing father's day words. A man who was raised Mulsim said his father was gentle with him as a child he was drawn to Jesus. He lost his father at 17 but remembered his gentleness. He had grown to know that his life was more a matter of serving others in need regardless of whether they accepted you or rejected you. He had learned Jesus taught love your enemies instead of any other response. What a life story. Now he has a son and grandson following the great teacher of love for all. Matthew 5. 38  “You have heard that it was said, ‘ Eye for eye , and  tooth for tooth .’   39  But I say to you, do not show opposition against an evil person; but whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other toward him also.   40  And if anyone wants to sue you and take your  [ ag ] tunic, let him have your  [ ah ] cloak also.   41  Whoever  [ ai ] forces you
