God loves children.  Human beings who don't know God can look down on children and discount them, but Jesus says, "Do not hinder the children."  "Bring them to me."  

God came into this world in a very humble fashion.  He came through the body of a common maiden who was a virgin.  She lived in an place where demands were placed upon her by the government.  Jesus, Immanuel, was born and placed in a manger because there was "no room at the inn." 

Many of us have no "room for children".  Then you have no room for a category of people that God especially loves and cares for.

Jesus says, "If you love me....

keep my commands

love children

love the poor

love the prisoner

tend to my lambs.

 8.13- If we want to be a helpers of people who are lost, confused and living in chaos it is critical to balance our lives. We need to separate from people who are overly afraid. We need much time with people who are not confused and who remind us to not be afraid. We also need time away from all people to rest and refuel in the countryside, gardens, beaches, lakes, mountains and places of restful sleep. At the right time we will have mental, emotional, physical and especially spiritual energy to lead people to settle down, chunk problems down to size and overcome. Then we can pray for wisdom and give thanks for being a part of the positive change from confusion and lack to peace order and abundant provision.
