 4.25-

Humans have a special tension if they are children of God. We have limitations that frustrate us yet we have work to finish here on earth.
Spirit lifters have a work that is accelerated by working in the midst of sorrow and pain. Some are blessed to work into their 70's or 80's. They are looked to by younger generations for wisdom and insight. So young and old work together for the benefit of both.
Each day I wake up, I sense a new work for that day and support from younger workers. We don't lose heart. We are more direct and focused than ever. We remember we are children of God in a nation that proclaims on coins that we trust in God.
We are pressed but not crushed. We believe the life after this life is better life. We don't lose heart. We live with body parts that don't work well. Our physical eyes get cloudy but the eyes of our heart are more clear than ever and focused on our Father in heaven.
We are confident that it might be our preference at times to be finished with our work yet we still have good and important work here to be uplifters of spirits.
Thank you God for good work to do every day regardless of our age. This last couple of months I have been blessed to partner with people from age 18 to age 88. God is good.

1 Cor. 4.
16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

1 Cor. 5

For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands. Meanwhile we groan, longing to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling, because when we are clothed, we will not be found naked. For while we are in this tent, we groan and are burdened, because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. Now the one who has fashioned us for this very purpose is God, who has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.

Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord. For we live by faith, not by sight. We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.
