 6.21-

There have always been good lessons to be learned from the Olympics. Ancient words have taught from them. Paul wrote to not flail about In the the fight of life, but aim carefully and win the battle over yourself through the grace of God.
College, pro and Olympic athletes have a danger. If the pursuit is spiritual wisdom first and then physical discipline and success then life can go well.
But if the pursuit is celebrity, money and fame first then these things can easily destroy anyone without guardrails in their life.
Wisdom will lead to good financial wisdom
Money will not lead necessarily to good wisdom.
All of us fall short of being all we could be and need. Grace. Pray for famous people caught in a destructive indiscetion.

Proverbs 15.

16 How much better it is to get wisdom than gold!
And to get understanding is to be chosen above silver.
