8.22- Our jobs, to be truly fulfilling, must help people.

 8.22-

Our jobs, to be truly fulfilling, must help people. Our co workers, our customers, our clients and our students. If we travel to our work and within our work it is possible that we cross paths with people in need.
One of my close friends told me of a man working for him and he got off track and into drugs and alcohol. He had come back from help and a job and yet he was not ready to handle the job. My friend was almost crying as he was describing the situation.
The great teacher said, "Follow me and I will make you fishers of men." My friend will pray find a way to help him to stop hurting himself and find a better path.
A day when we help people to respect themselves and others is a good day.

Mark 1

14 Now after John was [j]taken into custody, Jesus came into Galilee, [k]preaching the gospel of God, 15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God [l]is at hand; repent and [m]believe in the gospel.”

16 As He was going along the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon and Andrew, the brother of Simon, casting a net in the sea; for they were fishermen. 17 And Jesus said to them, “Follow Me, and I will have you become fishers of people.” 18 Immediately they left their nets and followed Him. 19 And going on a little farther, He saw [n]James the son of Zebedee, and his brother John, [o]who were also in the boat mending the nets. 20 Immediately He called them; and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men, and went away [p]to follow Him.
