Did you ever betray Jesus?

The flesh is weak.  We humans do some foolish things.  We have all sinned.  Judas is not the only betrayer of Jesus.  Peter and all of us who follow Him have sinned against Him.  The difference in our lives is how we react to the admission of our sin against Him.  We can move to grace and forgiveness.  We can move to being closer to God and stronger and more full of joy.


Sin or betrayal.>Face the facts.>Remorse>Self-destruction.>Bad mental health.

Or

Sin or betrayal.>Face the facts.>Remorse>Reception of the gift of forgiveness>More Love for God>Stronger.>Good mental health.

8.30- Death  The end of life on this earth seems very random at times. How is this so? Why? Once Jesus was asked about this and he said something was true of all of them.  They all needed to change.  To repent and to improve.  That is the work for all of us every day then every day we are ready for the change. Luke 13 13  Now there were some present at that time who told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices.   2  Jesus answered,  “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way?   3  I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.   4  Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them—do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem?   5  I tell you, no!  8.31- You can find someone to tell you what you want to hear. RIt could be a palm reader. It could be an astrologer. It could be a crooked peddler of expensive vitamins. It could be a televangist who sells you a packet of water for a $10 donation. You  will not overcome the reality that it is appointed once to man to die and then comes the judgement. How we live in this life has consequences in the next life. Jesus teaches that those who are adopted into the family of God will not be condemned in the next life.
