The Lifestyle Which Gives a Good Outcome

Larry,

Remember that all kinds of people have a soul that needs to be restored and reconciled to God, their Creator.  Jew. Gentile. Samaritan.  Fisherman. Physician. Tax collector. Master. Slave. Elder brothers and prodigal.  Prisoners.

What the Bible refers to as “salvation” is not just a one moment in time experience, but is a lifestyle.  A world view.  A way looking at things.

This includes these things, but is not limited to them:

-A search for justice and fairness.

-Gratitude.

-Alertness through prayer.

-Praying for open doors for the good news of Jesus.

-Wise interactions with “outsiders”.

-Thoughtfulness about how to respond to each person.

-Encouraging everyone to guard their hearts.

-Laboring for new spiritual growth for each other.

-Expecting maturity to come out of each interaction whether positive or painful.

-Deep concern for each other.

-Stimulating each other in the community to fulfill their unique mission in life.
