4.24-There is a spiritual battle in this world. Jesus won. Pick a side and don't be stupid.
4.24-
Matthew 21.
41 “He will bring those wretches to a wretched end,” they replied, “and he will rent the vineyard to other tenants, who will give him his share of the crop at harvest time.”
42 Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures:
There are ways of Jesus that were insulting to the religious
leaders of His day. Jesus came from
heaven, powered by and shaped by the love of His Father in heaven. His walk on this earth was in gentleness to
sinners in trouble and in need of change to a better way. These religious leaders Jesus confronted were
into money and power. They didn’t want
time with the blind and lame to slow down their business success. Jesus flipped their plans upside down along
with the tables of their money made from their religious rules. Jesus taught that God was about prayer when
they were about money and power. The
religious bigots didn’t want Jesus to be a part of the culture. Jesus said that a repentant prostitute or tax
collector was a better reflection of God than they were. They wanted to reject Jesus, but in fact
Jesus because the very capstone of the building of God’s house. Jesus won.
When He died on the cross to pay for the sins of the world and then was
resurrected the third day He proved that His way of love won. We won with Him.
Matthew 21.
41 “He will bring those wretches to a wretched end,” they replied, “and he will rent the vineyard to other tenants, who will give him his share of the crop at harvest time.”
42 Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures:
“‘The stone the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone;
the Lord has done this,
and it is marvelous in our eyes’[h]?
has become the cornerstone;
the Lord has done this,
and it is marvelous in our eyes’[h]?
43 “Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit. 44 Anyone who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; anyone on whom it falls will be crushed.”[I]
