The temptation before the temptation is to not be led by the Spirit of God.  If you are led by the Spirit of God there will be times in the desert.

Matthew 4.
4 Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted[a] by the devil.

Save your political action prayers for the meeting with your win/lose political party, whether you are democrat, republican or independependent as far as I'm concerned.
