9.3- If there is a loving God in charge of the universe why do the wicked live so long?

9.3-

Small faith in God can cause some amazing things to happen.  Small becomes large.  Trees of habit can be uprooted and a new chain of healthy habits can begin.  Boldness to warn can come.  Repentance can come and forgiveness can happen.  Over and over.  This is God’s way.  A way of patience. 

Isaiah 48.9-11

⁹ “For the sake of My name I delay My wrath,
And for My praise I restrain it for you,
In order not to cut you off.
¹⁰ “Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver;
I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.
¹¹ “For My own sake, for My own sake, I will act;
For how can My name be profaned?
And My glory I will not give to another.

Luke 17.

17 He said to His disciples, “It is inevitable that ^[a]stumbling blocks come, but woe to him through whom they come! ² It ^[b]would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea, than that he would cause one of these little ones to stumble. ^3 [c]Be on your guard! If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. ⁴ And if he sins against you seven times a day, and returns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ ^[d]forgive him.”

2 Peter 3.

⁹ The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.
