1.14-

The murder of two men who were alive this time last week has moved me.
They chose to follow Jesus and attend worship services as Jesus did and were killed for it in my town and state and nation.
Some have quit attending worship.
Jesus had this habit of attending a worship assembly.
I was taught this habit by my parents.
Many have gotten into the habit of forsaking the assembling together to worship God with the brothers and sisters.
I do get discouraged with the people of God sometimes. I get discouraged with myself sometimes.
For over 3,000 years the people of God have gathered to read Scripture and learn together.
No, I refuse to quit this good habit.
Others in China, Iran and other nations layed down their lives to assemble.
My two brothers, Richard White and Tony Wallace didn't quit and I won't quit.
God help us to love Your church.

Hebrews 10.
19 Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near with a [h]sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; 24 and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, 25 not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.
